Your style incorporates rustic, romantic and traditional aspects, as we discovered through your style finder and from working on your previous room. Based on our consultation, it seemed that for your living room, you still wanted something “Anthropologie-esque,” but meshed with a style that also incorporated your husbands love of rockabilly, and the need for a shared relaxation space.

You have a great space with nice windows providing natural light to make the room feel more spacious, even if the size may be a challenge. You also have great wood floors, and a fireplace to help keep the space cozy. Your built-ins seem to be meeting most of your storage needs, so all the things you need on hand are easily accessible.

This space, like your office, had the challenge of fitting a lot of use into a small area. You want to keep most of the items you already own, while fitting them into an overall style that represents you, rather than a catalog collection.

We developed a well-defined color scheme, found ways to use and arrange some of your furniture (although we’ve shown suggestions for new pieces down the line), added art and accessories for character and identified focal points. Your living room can now serve as a serene relaxation space for both of you, as well as the dog!
