This empty room has fantastic architecture. With our design, the room goes from being a classic but tired space, to a grand and elegant room for entertaining. Your desire to make this a beautiful classical space for entertaining including some modern touches comes alive.
The owners' existing artwork is the inspiration for the design. This large landscape placed above the fireplace, contains rich, warm colors which we've incorporated into your new formal living room. The owners' existing sofa is used to anchor the seating area around the grand fireplace. A new Windsor rug warms the room, but continues in the formal tradition. The rug should be centered on the fireplace, but set out approximately six inches.
